Therapy for Women

Non-stop shifting of focus… all day long

Women face many issues, such as oppression, gender-bias, pay inequality, and domestic violence or unhealthy relationships. Oppression exists in many forms from sexual harassment in the work force, discrimination in education and in the healthcare system, to unfair treatment in the family and in life.

Let’s face it – women work at home, at work, with family, and it may be all shifts of the day and night. And it feels like it is never enough. You take on many roles and wear many hats. But you wonder where you belong and is there any justice?

Social norms pour pressure on women to ‘BE’!

When you are depressed, anxious, angry and emotional, you are stigmatized for it. There must be something wrong with you…. Social norms convey ways in which women should look, act and live.

You see in in the media, television, and on social media standards of beauty, behavior and sexuality that make women victims of the unachievable and often are degrading.

This often is the silent culprit to women’s mental health.  Feeling “not good enough” can lead to poor relationships with food, shopping, financial stressors, loneliness and isolation.

Communicating your needs becomes difficult when your desires are perceived as unimportant. Over and over, it’s a battle, a struggle…

Where can your voice be heard? And your story be launched?
